It's all for a good cause!

TGI Fridays strives to treat the environment with the same respect we show our guests and we always ensure we do the right thing for our teams, our communities and the natural environment. We don't just have making tasty food on our plates, its about TGI Friday's social responsibility to CARE!

  • We are delighted we are 0% waste to landfill;
  • We ensure 100% of our fryer cooking oil is recycled for bio diesel which is sold on for vehicle use;
  • Our menus are printed on 100% Rainforest Alliance Paper;
  • We have installed smart meters to track and measure our energy usage, and we use certified 'green electricity' in all of our restaurants meaning 100% electricity comes from green sources;
  • We can confirm we have reduced our salt by 20% in our 2017 menus;
  • Redundant stock - we manage our redundant stock so well that we haven't given any to Fareshare for over 18 month. When we do have redundant stock, Fareshare use it for the benefit of those in need.

Also we ensure that our stores calendars are jam packed with local charity nights where our teams can raise awareness for fantastic causes!


Red Nose Day 2017

We were a supporting partner of Comic Relief in 2017 and we raised over £100K through donating money for every Chief Burger (£2), Strawberry Fields Mocktail (£1) and Kids Strawberry Slush (75p) sold in all our restaurants between the 9th January and the 31st March.
