Behind every great unique Fridays experience, are our great Managers and Team! They are the heart and soul of everything we do, which is why we’re looking for an experienced and passionate FP&A Manager to join our busy Finance team here at Fridays.

This role is a forward-looking, data-driven and strategic part of the Finance team.  This person will be responsible for the development and modelling of financial plans, in support of the business strategy and reporting on business-level financial performance to drive future action. 

Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for:

  • Long-term financial planning modelling, including business plans, budgeting and forecasting throughout the year
  • Ownership of the budgeting processes from a top down perspective and bottom-up with the operations teams, ensuring buy-in and challenge in setting targets
  • Evolution and production of Board & Exec reports to summarise business performance on a monthly basis and highlight key opportunities and risks
  • Overview of operational reporting and moving to a more streamlined, automated way of working
  • Cost efficiency targeting and tracking
  • Understanding and driving the use of financial systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Finance lead on various project teams, able to understand the implications and bigger picture

About you

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Significant experience in a similar FP&A Manager role
  • Qualified accountant - CIMA, ACCA, ACA
  • Excellent communication skills, being able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and non-financial managers
  • Enjoy working as part of a small team as well as on their own initiative
  • Excellent reporting skills with a proactive approach
  • A willingness to learn, research and use initiative
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver results
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
  • A team player who’s able to work on individual performance goals and KPIs
